Step 1 - Purchase Codes
Before you can add UPC Codes to your products, you need to purchase some from the dashboard of the application.
UPC Codes are sold in "packs" as a way to offer bulk discounts. The more you purchase, the lower you pay per code.
From the dashboard of the application, select how many UPC Codes you would like to purchase.
The application will always show you how many UPC Codes you are about to buy, and at what price.
Step 2 - Adding Codes to Products
There are two ways to add UPC Codes you have purchased from UPC Code Manager to your application:
1. Using the app navigation to link UPC Codes you purchased to a product
Navigate to Apps --> UPC Code Manager
From the dashboard of the UPC Code Manager application, select the product you want to add codes to
...if the product has a single variant click on "Add barcodes to 1 variant"
...if the product has multiple variants, select the variants you want to add UPC Codes to and click on "Add barcodes to __ variants"
You did it!
2. Using Shopify "More actions" to link UPC Codes you purchased to a product
Navigate to the product you want to add UPC Codes to
Open the "More actions" dropdown
Select "Manage UPC Codes for this product"
...if the product has a single variant click on "Add barcodes to 1 variant"
...if the product has multiple variants, select the variants you want to add UPC Codes to and click on "Add barcodes to __ variants"
